If You Don’t Take Care of Your Body, Where Are You Going to Live? : There’s No Hiding Your Habits

We all know that now more than ever is the time to embody our health and wellness within.

In today’s world, it is all too easy to develop habits that not only keep us from the best version of ourselves- mentally and physically- but that decrease our longevity.

Mental and physical disease and chronic pain and suffering are at an all-time high.

I am here to tell you that YOU are in control of continuing to subject your body to these stresses- that ultimately reduce your quality and quantity of life- and YOU are also in control of choosing to turn things around, right now.

Your health and wellness doesn’t wait.

If you enjoy the life you are so blessed to have, and the people you are so blessed to love… I encourage you to take the steps it takes to ensure your body is capable of pursuing all that you hope and dream to do within this lifetime.

The first step is to become aware of your body’s struggles, and slowly- with acceptance and kindness- unfold the potential of improving the function of your vehicle (your body).

This vehicle that has the precious job of carrying our soul through it’s life experiences, and is the only one we get here on Earth.

We wouldn’t expect our car to run with water in the gas can or if it had been sitting for years, right? It’s all about the continued maintenance. Give your {body} vehicle the optimal “fuel” {nutrients} it needs- along with opportunities to challenge it’s strength- keeping the nuts and bolts (joints and muscles) lubricated, flexible, and strong- and last, but not least- give attention to the mind.

Find what works for you (yes, this part takes well-worth-it time, effort, trial and error). Be diligent in your findings and actions and you’ve got the recipe to nourish yourself from the inside out every opportunity that you get.

Let me insert a favorite quote.. “Every time you eat or drink, you are either feeding disease, or fighting it.” That’s powerful.

I don’t have all of the answers, and I am learning more everyday of the body’s fascinating capabilities and responses to actions and foods.

But, I do know we can make choices daily to improve our existence in this world.

After all, If you don’t take care of your body, where are you going to live?
